I was just wondering what, in your opinion is the best Anti-Virus program and the best Anti-Spyware program. Ive had quite a few problems with my computer and have had to format a few times and i believe it is a direct result of some kind of virus.

AVG is really good.
get malwarebytes, it not only deletes this shit you have it blocks new bugs.
AVG and Ad-Aware… get them, keep them, love them! Ad-aware by lavasoft just saved my computer and it took 2 fuckin minutes… HELL YEAH! Ive had both of these for a good while and they havent let me down(yet)… and i download A TON! A TON! …like, if our government starts to check our computers without permission… im gettin LIFE ….without parole! LOL!

AVAST
why cant i run 7 at a time like 1 am now? that way i dont have to pick a best……
i guess the guy is a home made profesional IT man
Dump and no idea about OS system and their security problems…
its kaspersky good?!
is it possible for it to hurt the aero aspects or slow down performance of windows 7 64 bit ?
McAfee is relatively useless, they give it away with Comcast subscriptions or when you download applications like Adobe etc. AVG has a high false positive rate, but isn’t the worst AV in the world. If you want good AV go with Avast, Kaspersky, Nod32, or BitDefender.
Norton 2010 is superb!
@thejinn96 Nope. It may if it pops up though.
@thejinn96 i have used norton for a week now or so, and it slows a little bit down, but you get everything, removes all viruses, and boosts registry etc.
but, slows a little bit, since it tries to keep the comp clean 100% all the time.
agreed. i have nod32 4 rite now its ALRIGHT I got it for free though so i decided to use it and yeah my sis has avast and its great for home use.
is Norton security suite 2010 ok for gaming ? or will it slow down or hurt performance while playing online ?
You’re right.
